This ensures that whether your child is just learning how to set up the board or is ready to master complex endgames, they get specific feedback rather than just following a generic lesson plan. At YoungPlum, we move beyond basic rules to help students build a solid foundation. Our program focuses on logical progression, taking players from understanding piece movement to executing strategic openings and endgames. We use tournament-standard weighted pieces and vinyl roll-up boards, ensuring students get comfortable with the gear they will actually encounter in competitive play. Why parents in Punjabi Bagh choose our chess program: - Expert Guidance: Our sessions are led by FIDE-certified instructors who bring real-world competitive experience to the board. - Cognitive Growth: Chess is a fantastic way to develop critical thinking, pattern recognition, and patience. We turn the challenge of strategy into a fun, rewarding puzzle for young minds. - Consistent Practice: With 8 sessions per month scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays, your child gets consistent, structured learning without it feeling like a chore. We believe that chess and art are surprisingly similar—both require creativity, focus, and the willingness to try, fail, and try again. Our studio is the perfect place for your child to sharpen their mind while making new friends. ## About YoungPlum I started YoungPlum to create a space where art and strategy live side-by-side. My team and I believe that chess is just another form of creative expression, and we love watching our students sharpen their focus while having fun in our Punjabi Bagh studio.
