I bring this same observational eye to your events, turning quick moments into hand-drawn sketches that your guests can keep. ## Photos and videos - ![Here I am, set up on a sidewalk with my portable chair and sketchbook. My work is not about perfect, stiff poses. I watch for the natural laugh or the quiet conversation between friends, turning those fleeting seconds into quick ink or watercolor sketches. These are not just drawings but *yaadgaar cheez* (memorable things) that your guests can take home to remember your day. ### My Approach to Live Art My journey began on the sidewalks of Mumbai, sketching *Wada pav* stalls and coffee shops. That training taught me to work fast and stay observant. When I bring this practice to your venue, I am not trying to replicate a photo. I use ink and watercolor to capture the energy of the room, the way a guest smiles, or the festive vibe of the crowd. ### What I Offer at Events Whether you are hosting a wedding, a birthday, or a corporate gathering, I provide interactive art entertainment that keeps people engaged. * **Quick Ink Caricatures:** Perfect for high-volume crowds. I can sketch 10-12 guests per hour, focusing on fun, expressive lines. * **Live Watercolor Portraits:** For a more premium feel, these take about 10-12 minutes per person, resulting in a beautiful, full-color keepsake on 300 GSM paper. * **Event Scene Illustration:** If you don't want portraits, I can document the venue itself, sketching the mandap or the stage atmosphere in real-time. ### Practical Details I travel across the Mumbai Metropolitan Area from my studio in Goregaon West. For the best results, I simply need a vantage point with a stable table and good lighting. I carry all my supplies, including protective sleeves for the finished sketches, so guests walk away with a clean, ready-to-frame drawing. My goal is simple—to add a bit of *mazza* (fun) and creativity that feels personal to your celebration. ## About Divya Bhatia I am Divya, and I view Mumbai as my open-air gallery. I started by sketching street corners, and now I bring that same spontaneous, observant energy to weddings and birthdays. If you want art that feels like a conversation rather than a stiff portrait, I am ready to sketch for you.
