Whether it is a classic watercolour piece or a vibrant digital illustration, I study the specific details that make a memory significant to you. We discuss the composition, choose your medium, and I share a layout for your approval before I begin the final artwork. My art is all about slowing down time in a fast-paced city like Mumbai. Whether you want to preserve a 100-year-old lassi shop in Dadar or you need a caricature for a gift, my goal is to create something that feels like you. ### How I Work I offer two main paths for your commission. We can go the physical route with high-quality watercolour and ink, or choose digital illustration for vibrant, sharp colours that are perfect for printing on cards or canvases. If you have an idea—like a favourite inside joke or a specific scene—we will collaborate to sketch that narrative. ### My Main Offerings * **Portraits & Caricatures:** I handle everything from couple portraits to pet illustrations. These make great gifts for anniversaries or birthdays because they capture personality, not just a likeness. * **Urban Sketching:** I regularly sketch the iconic corners of Mumbai. If you have a place that holds a special memory, like an old café or your childhood home, I can turn that location into a custom illustration. * **Live Event Sketching:** If you are hosting a baby shower or a celebration, I can join you to sketch quick, personal portraits for your guests, giving them a unique keepsake to take home. ### The Process For digital portraits, I usually need about 5 to 7 days to complete the work, and I include revisions to ensure you are happy with the colours and details. For physical paintings, I prioritize high-quality 300 GSM paper so your art stays preserved. Every piece I create is hand-drawn, signed, and made with the intention of lasting a long time. Supporting my work means you are helping a local Mumbai artist keep creating. ## About Divya Bhatia Hi, I’m Divya.
