## About Simple & Nourishing Recipes

I often get asked how I manage healthy cooking while caring for my 6-month-old. The secret is not fancy ingredients; it is smart, simple swaps. For instance, I replace the refined-flour mayonnaise in pasta with a homemade cashew paste. It provides the same creamy texture while staying safe for those managing PCOD or thyroid imbalances. These are not just recipes; they are practical ways to nourish your body without adding extra stress to your day.

When you are dealing with hormonal issues, pregnancy, or postpartum recovery, food acts as your primary medicine. My approach to nutrition is rooted in ancestral wisdom and modern, manageable habits.

### Why Traditional Foods Matter
I often share recipes like Kottige or Neer Dosa because our bodies are adapted to the foods our ancestors ate for generations. These traditional staples, when prepared correctly, support better gut bacteria and nutrient absorption. For example, fermenting grains or using simple one-pot methods like my Palak Dal Rice reduces inflammation and keeps your blood sugar stable, which is crucial for managing PCOS.

### The 'One-Pot' Philosophy
My kitchen philosophy is simple: if a recipe takes longer than 20 minutes, it likely won't happen. That is why I favor one-pot meals, millets, and quick breakfast hacks like puffed rice upma with chickpea powder. These meals are high in fiber, rich in plant-based protein, and designed to keep you full and satisfied.

### Customizing for Your Needs
Every woman has a unique body type and set of requirements. Whether you need lactation-boosting foods, snacks to curb sugar cravings, or high-protein dinners that do not require complex preparation, these recipes can be tailored. Nutrition is not about restriction; it is about finding a sustainable way to eat that respects your stage of life, whether you are preparing for pregnancy, healing postpartum, or simply balancing a busy lifestyle.
