These Shatkarmas are part of our traditional Hatha roots, but we always start with the basics, ensuring you are comfortable and supported by our teachers before attempting any purification method. ### Why We Step Off the Mat At Yoga Bimba, we believe the practice should extend beyond the four walls of our Nagarbhavi studio. These events—whether it is an early morning session of 108 Surya Namaskars or a workshop on ancient cleansing techniques—are designed to build community and deepen our connection to the discipline. ### Our Approach to Special Events - **Safety First:** Whether we are outdoors or performing Kriyas, your safety is our priority. Outdoor sessions include guidance on posture and breath to ensure you remain stable and protected. - **Traditional Roots:** We follow the Hatha yoga lineage, which includes Shatkarmas (purification methods). These are introduced only when a student is ready, always under direct observation to ensure correct technique. - **Community Connection:** These events are where the tribe truly comes alive. It is not about perfect poses but about sharing energy, clearing the mind, and celebrating milestones like Rathasapthami or our 10-year journey together. ### Joining Our Next Event If you are new to the tribe, you do not need to be an advanced practitioner to join our workshops. Most sessions are designed to be accessible, and we provide all the necessary support. We announce our upcoming outdoor yoga treks and special cleansing workshops on our community groups.
