Getting recognized at events like The Dance Lab isn't just about the wall decor for me, it is about the hours spent with my homies in the studio and the real connection we built with the crowd. When you book me for your event, that is exactly the same vibe I bring—whether it is a tight 20-minute dance set or a full-day MC gig. Performing isn't just about showing up with a mic or some dance moves. It is about understanding the pulse of the room. My journey over the last 13 years has been defined by the people I have jammed with, from the raw streets to established stages like The Dance Lab and Urban Utsav. ### Why I Approach Events This Way I do not just perform and leave. I study the crowd. Whether I am switching between Kannada, Hindi, and English to bridge the language gap or breaking down a House dance set, the goal is always the same: to pull the audience into the moment. ### My Performance Philosophy * **The Cypher Culture:** If you are hosting a jam, you need someone who knows the unwritten rules of the cypher. I bring that foundational knowledge to every stage. * **Corporate and Private Gigs:** I bring that same authentic energy to corporate events or private parties, keeping it high-energy without the forced corporate polish. * **No Scripts, No Fake Hype:** I rely on freestyle and interaction. If you have seen my work at local festivals in Bengaluru, you know the style is raw, honest, and grounded in hip-hop culture. ### Common Questions * **Do you perform locally in Bengaluru?** Yes, I am active across the city's event circuit and available for travel. * **Is this just dance?** No, I offer a full spectrum. My services include rap, freestyle MC duties, and dance showcases depending on what your event needs. * **How do we coordinate?** I handle my own backing tracks, but I do require a sound check to ensure the mic levels match the energy of the room. ## About Tilak Prabhu I am Tilak, and for me, hip-hop is a way of life, not just a career.
