Instead, we use a song-based method that gets you playing recognizable melodies in your first few sessions. Whether you want to pick up a Bollywood track by ear or build a foundation for Trinity Grade exams, we adapt the curriculum to what keeps you excited about the instrument. At Yellow Lights School of Performing Arts in Kavesar, we treat music as a form of expression rather than a series of rigid scales. Our piano and keyboard program is designed to move you from the basics to actual performance, regardless of whether you are a complete beginner or looking to advance your skills. ### Our Approach to Piano We believe the best way to learn is by doing. Our mentors focus on playing by ear, breath control, and understanding rhythm, which helps you build confidence quickly. If you prefer a structured path, we offer specialized Trinity College London grade exam preparation, keeping the lessons centered around songs you enjoy. ### The Studio Experience Your learning happens in our acoustically treated, air-conditioned jam rooms. We provide full-sized weighted and semi-weighted keyboards (Casio/Korg) so you aren't restricted by equipment limitations. For those who want more, our mini-studio setup allows you to record your progress, analyze your pitch, and hear exactly how your tone is developing. ### Beyond the Keys Learning piano at Yellow Lights is social. We organize our students into small batches of 3 to 5 people to ensure you get enough individual attention while benefiting from the motivation of a group. Eventually, you can join the Yellow Lights Band, where you'll practice accompaniment and perform live. This is where you learn to truly jam, listen to other instruments, and develop the musicianship that separates a hobbyist from a performing musician. If you want to see how we teach, drop by our studio in Thane West and see a session in action. ## About Yellow Lights Hi, I'm Aditya. I started Yellow Lights to create a space where music feels like a community, not a chore. We focus on getting you to the stage, whether that's playing a Bollywood ballad on the keys or jamming with our band.
