Our mentors are working professionals, which means they don't just teach you how to hit the right notes, they show you how to lock in with a band, handle a live setup, and recover when things go wrong—because they've been there themselves. At Yellow Lights, we believe a teacher should be a mentor, not just an instructor. You won't find dry, repetitive theory lessons here. Instead, you'll be guided by people who live and breathe music. Take Siddhesh Sundar, our drum guru. With 8 years of experience and a background as a Trinity Grade 8 teacher, he also works in the film industry and plays in a fusion band. He doesn't just teach rudiments; he helps students evolve into power drummers who understand the nuance of rhythm. Then there's Nikhil Pachpande, our piano expert. A member of the rock band Sparsh and a 'Best Music Director' award winner, he brings 20 years of stage experience to his lessons. He knows how to channel that raw energy into musicality. We match you with mentors who align with your goals, whether you are picking up an instrument for the first time or prepping for a high-stakes performance. Because our mentors are actively performing at festivals and studio sessions, they know what it takes to actually play in a team. When you're in the jam room with us, you are not just learning a syllabus. You are learning how to listen, how to jam, and how to perform. Sab log aise full on macha denge—that is the goal. ## About Yellow Lights We're a collective of musicians who believe learning should be loud, messy, and fun. Our mentors are gigging professionals, not just academics, because we want you to get stage-ready from day one.
