Unlike a studio setting, we use movement to our advantage. We will walk, talk, and interact with the space around us, which helps you forget I am even there. This keeps the posing minimal and results in natural, candid expressions that capture your genuine joy. When we shoot outdoors, the light is our most important partner. I always recommend planning these sessions for the hour just before sunset, often called the golden hour. It creates that soft, warm glow that makes every photograph feel dreamlike without needing heavy filters or editing. For locations, Mumbai offers plenty of variety. We can head to the beach for those breezy, coastal shots where the waves create a peaceful rhythm. Alternatively, if you prefer something quiet and private, we can find a secluded corner in a green park. These settings provide beautiful, organic textures that complement the flowy maternity gowns and fabrics from my studio collection. I want to make this process as easy as possible for you. Since outdoor sessions involve walking and changing, I recommend wearing comfortable footwear until we reach our spot. You are more than welcome to bring your partner, siblings, or even your pet along. If you find it hard to choose between the studio and the outdoors, my hybrid session package is designed for exactly that—we start with the clean, controlled lighting of my Powai studio and finish with the vibrant energy of an outdoor sunset. ## About Yellow Pumpkins Photography I'm Ritika, and I believe the best maternity photos happen when you are completely at ease.
