Our mock exams are the secret weapon that turns exam anxiety into 'I've got this' confidence, letting your child practice conversation in a setting that mirrors the real exam day. The GESE (Graded Examinations in Spoken English) exams are more than just a test; they are a milestone for building a child's voice. At Yellow Brick Way, we use the Trinity framework because it focuses on real-world skills, not rote memorization. Whether your child is preparing for Grades 1-3, we turn preparation into a game. ### Why Our Approach Works * **Small Batch Sizes:** We keep groups between 6 and 10 students to ensure every child gets enough 'air time' to speak, practice, and shine. * **Interactive Learning:** We replace dry textbook drills with flashcards, hand puppets, and props. If we are learning about food, we play pretend restaurant. If it is about family, we use photos and stories. * **The Mock Exam Advantage:** Before the real examiner arrives, we conduct multiple internal mock exams. We create a 'test environment' so when the actual day comes, the child feels like they are just walking into another one of our familiar, fun classes. ### What We Cover * **Confidence Building:** Learning to structure thoughts and express them clearly. * **Technical Skills:** Improving diction, phonology, and grammar through conversation. * **Exam Readiness:** Mock exam reports and detailed feedback on posture and eye contact. We operate out of our Juhu studio, where the environment is designed to be warm and welcoming. We are here to help your child navigate their first formal exam with a smile, not stress. ## About Yellow Brick Way I'm Salonie, and I've spent 15 years watching shy kids find their voice.
