## About Traditional Storytelling Mehendi

To get the storytelling design right, we usually chat before your wedding to decide which motifs matter most to you. Whether it is a specific temple figure, a custom elephant motif, or a scene from your Baraat, I sketch these out to ensure they flow naturally with the traditional patterns on your arms and hands.

Traditional storytelling mehendi is about personalisation. It is not just about covering your hands with henna; it is about embedding memories into the art. I use my own homemade, organic henna paste for these designs, which is crucial because storytelling pieces require fine detail and shading. The paste must be smooth to handle the intricate lines of a portrait or a tiny Doli figure without bleeding, ensuring you get that deep, dark stain for your big day.

When I work on a storytelling bridal piece, I take my time. These designs are dense and rich, often requiring 7 to 9 hours of work. I specialise in integrating specific icons like the Ganesha, peacocks, lotus flowers, or elephants alongside portraits of the couple. Because I am based in Bangalore, I travel across the city to work in the comfort of your home. We can plan a marathon session or split the application over two days to keep you comfortable.
