I’m Yashwant Vaishnav, tabla is my saathi (companion) from Mumbai. For me, it’s not just an instrument – it’s my pooja (worship), my daily routine. My Guruji, Pt. Yogesh Samsi ji, Ustad Zakir Hussain ji… their blessings, I carry close. Music for me is sharing – jamming with my brothers in Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, even Abu Dhabi, it’s all magic. Audience ki energy (energy from the audience) – that’s what keeps me going.
