## About Glamorous Reception & Sangeet Looks

For evening events like a sangeet or reception, lighting is the biggest challenge. I prioritize building a base that stays sweat-resistant throughout the night while giving you that polished finish for 4K photography. If you are worried about your makeup fading under stage lights or venue glare, I use long-wear HD products specifically designed to hold up without looking cakey or heavy.

Transitioning from a morning ceremony to an evening reception requires a shift in both technique and style. While traditional bridal makeup focuses on classic, timeless aesthetics, reception and sangeet looks allow for more experimentation. I often suggest opting for more defined eye looks, such as cut-crease or heavy smokey eyes, paired with bold lips that complement your evening outfit. 

My process for these events involves:

* **Photography-First Base:** I use high-coverage foundation from brands like MAC and Kryolan to ensure your skin looks flawless under artificial stage lights and camera flashes.
* **HD vs. Airbrush:** For a sangeet where you might be dancing, airbrush makeup is an excellent choice as it provides a lightweight, water-resistant finish that does not budge. If you prefer a more buildable, classic application, we can use ultra-HD liquid foundations for a dewy or matte finish based on your skin type.
* **Hairstyling:** No reception look is complete without the right hair. I provide structural styling, ranging from Hollywood waves and textured buns to voluminous curls, ensuring they stay secure throughout the event.
