I turn bare terraces into usable lounge spaces with structural pergolas, weather-proof flooring, and smart lighting that lasts. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This is how I turn an empty, unused roof into a modern and elegant outdoor living area. The project involved building a custom metal pergola for shade, installing stylish terrazzo-style floor tiles, and creating a complete seating arrangement. I also added a calming water feature and a wooden swing to make it the perfect spot for relaxing.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/648a01d3-eecc-417a-990b-96540babbf3d) ## About Terrace Transformations A major issue with terrace makeovers is using materials that cannot handle the local weather, leading to cracks or fading within a year. I focus on structural integrity first: we use heavy-duty MS pipes with anti-rust coating for pergolas and vitrified tiles that are truly anti-skid and waterproof. You are not just paying for a look, you are paying for a space that stays functional and stylish throughout the changing seasons. ### How I approach your terrace design Many people think a terrace makeover is just about adding some plants and a sofa. But if you want a space that actually lasts in Delhi NCR, you need to handle the structure properly. **1. The Foundation (Structural Work)** Before we talk about aesthetics, we need to ensure the space is usable. If you are getting a pergola, I insist on mild steel (MS) hollow pipes with a double-coat of anti-rust primer. We do not just paint it; we treat it so it doesn't rot during the monsoon. If you are adding a water feature, waterproofing the base is non-negotiable. I have seen too many DIY jobs that lead to seepage problems later. **2. Material Selection** For flooring, avoid indoor tiles. They become slippery and prone to cracking under high heat. I recommend vitrified tiles with a matte or anti-skid finish, or WPC (Wood Plastic Composite) decking. WPC is great because it is termite-proof and doesn't warp like natural wood when it rains. **3. Lighting for the Atmosphere** Lighting creates the mood. I don't just place random lights. We use IP65-rated waterproof wall washers and spot lights. This ensures your electrical points don't short-circuit the first time it rains. **4. Why work with me?** I am not an agency that sends a team and leaves. I am on-site for the fabrication, the tile laying, and the final fit-out. If there is a problem with a screw or a pipe, I am the one fixing it. You get a space that feels like a resort, built with the honesty of a home interior expert. ## About Vipin Rajput I'm Vipin, and I personally visit every site to ensure your terrace structural work and finishing are done right.
