When your child is digging in our mud kitchen or navigating the outdoor circuit in our New Moti Bagh garden, they aren't just playing. They are building the coordination, sensory awareness, and resilience that a static classroom simply cannot provide. We encourage getting dirty, because that is often where the real discovery happens. ### Learning Beyond Four Walls At Wonderland, our outdoor space in Chanakyapuri is an extension of our indoor environment. We draw inspiration from Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies, which view the environment as the 'third teacher.' We do not believe in keeping children contained; we believe in giving them the freedom to touch, climb, and observe. ### What Happens Outside? * **Mud Kitchen & Sensory Play:** Our outdoor mud kitchens allow children to explore textures, weights, and measurements using organic soil and natural materials. It is tactile, messy, and incredibly grounding. * **Bug Hotels & Nature Study:** From building bug hotels for local insects to observing life cycles in our garden, we teach children to respect the smallest creatures. This fosters early empathy and scientific curiosity. * **Gross Motor Skills:** Our garden features circuit training and obstacle courses. Whether it is marching to a drum beat for Republic Day or climbing, these activities are essential for developing strength, rhythm, and spatial awareness. ### Safety and Supervision While our philosophy encourages wild play, it is structured. We maintain a low student-teacher ratio of approximately 1:8, ensuring our lead teachers and support staff are always nearby. We keep our outdoor zones clean, air-purified in indoor transitions, and safe for all ages. We want our children to be brave explorers, knowing they are supported every step of the way. ## About Wonderland We’re Wonderland. We started out wanting kids to feel at home, not just in a classroom. We believe that if a child gets lost staring at a ladybug, well, that becomes our lesson for the day.
