Whether we are hunting for the Gruffalo in our garden or dancing like giraffes, every session includes tactile crafts and sensory setups that turn passive listening into active, imaginative play. It is about building vocabulary and confidence through hands-on fun that stays with your child long after the story ends. At Wonderland, storytelling is the heartbeat of our curriculum. We know that young children learn best when they are fully immersed in the narrative, which is why we break down the walls of the classroom to bring stories to life. Our sessions are designed to engage all senses. When we read 'The Gruffalo', we are not just sitting in a circle, we are walking through the 'deep dark wood' in our outdoor space in Chanakyapuri. When 'Monkey Puzzle' is the theme, we use sensory bins to help our little ones problem-solve. By connecting reading to movement, music, and craft, we help toddlers build lasting literacy skills without it ever feeling like a lesson. The best part is that this is not a solo act. We regularly invite parents to join as 'Star Parents,' bringing their own puppets or props to narrate. Seeing a parent read to their child in a group setting creates such a powerful bond for the little ones. From 'Giraffes Can't Dance' rhythm sessions to alien crafts inspired by 'The Darkest Dark', we ensure that every storytime helps your child express, explore, and grow.
