Our classes move from foundational exercises like Sarali Varisai directly into understanding Raga and Tala structures, ensuring you learn to play with feeling rather than just reading notations. Whether you are holding a violin for the first time or returning to the veena to refine your technique, our approach remains the same. We focus on the connection between the student and the instrument. ### Our Training Approach * **Violin:** We guide students through bowing techniques, fingering precision, and the nuances of Karnataka Sangeetha. You will learn how to produce a clear, resonant tone and understand the rhythmic complexities that define the instrument. * **Veena:** This ancient instrument requires patience and focus. We help you master plucking techniques and the subtleties of gamakas, moving from basic exercises to complex kritis. * **Methodology:** Our gurus focus on individual learning curves. We provide written notations in English or local scripts to help you practice at home. Because we believe music is a social art, we encourage peer learning in our small-group sessions at our Basavanagudi and Malleshwaram centers. ### Why Learn With Us We are not just a music school; we are a community. From our annual Kalaa Sangama showcase to informal jam sessions, we provide the platform for you to perform what you learn. We handle everything from beginner-level theory to advanced stage presence preparation. If you are looking for a place where tradition meets modern practice in the heart of Bangalore, you have found your home. ## About World Music Conservatory We are a home for those who want to learn instruments, not just read music.
