We work on your game ball by ball because that is how you build a real foundation, not just by playing matches. Growing the women's game starts with the basics. At Willow Sportz, we do not just put players in a game and hope they figure it out. We break the game down into repeatable, technical movements. ### Our Training Approach When a girl joins our U-12 program, she learns how to balance properly, how to use her non-bowling arm for accuracy, and why agility ladders are as important as holding the bat. We emphasize biomechanics early. Whether it is correcting a grip or refining a bowling action, we provide immediate, actionable feedback on the field. ### What to Expect * **Technical Foundation:** We start with grip, stance, and balance. No shortcuts. We ensure every player is comfortable with the basics before moving to advanced shot selection. * **Fitness & Agility:** Matches are often won in the field. Our sessions include high-intensity catching drills, ground fielding, and throwing techniques to build speed and confidence. * **The Right Environment:** Our academies in Balagere and Whitefield offer a safe, focused environment where girls learn alongside peers who are just as hungry to improve. We keep the groups structured so every player gets time with the coach. * **Match Readiness:** We integrate our players into match-like scenarios early. This helps them understand the psychology of the game and removes the fear of the leather ball, ensuring they are prepared when it is time to compete. This is not about who is naturally gifted. It is about who is willing to put in the work, session after session.
