## About Urban Oases: Rooftop & Terrace Gardens

I focus on structural integrity before planting, ensuring your terrace can handle heavy FRP planters and wooden decking without affecting the building. We start by mapping out drainage and sun patterns so your greenery thrives, even in the harsh Delhi heat.

My design process begins with a technical site analysis. I use Vectorworks to create accurate 2D master plans that account for load-bearing capacities and drainage, preventing common waterlogging issues that plague neglected terraces.

### The Sanctuary Approach
Every garden I design is a reflection of my philosophy, Amor Fati—loving one's fate. Whether it is a sleek, minimalist Japanese-inspired space or a lush, tropical hideout, the goal is to build a pocket of calm. I mix rigid hardscaping—like sturdy pergolas, granite bar counters, or weather-resistant WPC decking—with soft, flowing planting palettes.

### Practical Execution
We do not just throw plants in pots. I select species based on Delhi's specific climate and your terrace's exposure. If you have a high-wind balcony or a scorching southwest-facing roof, we use shade-tolerant palms and hardy creepers that survive the seasons. Our installations include automated drip irrigation and strategic LED lighting, allowing you to enjoy your space well into the night without worrying about maintenance.

By treating the terrace as an extension of your home, I ensure that every square inch is functional. We use privacy screens to block out city noise and neighbors, creating the seclusion you need to truly unwind. If you are ready to stop looking at a blank wall and start looking at a living piece of art, let us talk about the possibilities for your space.

## About Whispering Gardens

I left a career as a maths lecturer to follow the call of nature, training at Inchbald to learn the art of garden design. Today, I build green sanctuaries for those who crave peace, treating every garden as a living piece of art.
