If a batch doesn't look perfect, I never discard it; I rebatch it into mosaic soaps so absolutely nothing goes to waste. It is about rethinking the entire production cycle. ### The Art of Rebatching Sometimes, a soap batch does not pour perfectly or has a visual flaw. Instead of tossing it, I use a traditional rebatching process. I shred these bars and combine them with fresh ingredients to create my terrazzo and mosaic soaps. This ensures that every bit of high-quality oil and butter used is utilized, resulting in a unique, artistic bar that performs just as well as the 'perfect' ones. ### Packaging That Lives On I prioritize materials that you can reuse in your daily life. * **Glass Jars:** My body soufflés come in glass jars with metal lids, perfect for storing spices, jewelry, or small office supplies once the cream is finished. * **Aluminum Tins:** My deodorant creams and lip balms are housed in sliding or screw-top tins that are TSA-compliant and durable enough to serve as mini first-aid or travel kits. ### Mindful Shipping Shipping is where most businesses rely on plastic, but I have found alternatives. During the monsoon, I use wax-coated paper envelopes for water resistance, and year-round, I rely on paper tape and recycled confetti.
