By layering thousands of metal staples at precise densities, we build texture, depth, and a unique metallic shimmer that brings your walls to life. ## Photos and videos - [Video: This full-length portrait of Lord Ram with his bow and arrow is constructed entirely from metal staples. Every piece is hand-punched, layering thousands of individual metal staples into plyboard to create deep shading and light play. Since we craft these in our studio, they arrive ready-to-hang in heavy-duty frames, making them a perfect, durable choice for feature walls that need a raw, industrial edge. We treat thousands of humble office staples as our primary medium. By driving them into plyboard at different angles and densities, we achieve a metallic sheen and contrast that paint simply cannot replicate. Each piece is a labour of love, taking days to layer the subtle gradients of a face or a complex image. Because of the weight and the nature of the metalwork, we treat every piece with fixatives to ensure the staples stay locked in place, and we frame them in custom, heavy-duty boxes for protection. We typically work with a standard 24 inch by 36 inch size, but we can scale up for larger installations depending on your space. If you want a portrait that makes people stop, look closer, and ask how it was made, this is the style for you. Whether you are looking for a celebrity homage or a personal, meaningful gift, we bring the same level of obsessive detail and craft to every single board. We take pride in creating something you have never seen before, turning a static wall into a conversation piece that catches the light differently throughout the day. ## About whARTever We’re Varsha and Vivek, and after 14 years in the studio, we still find magic in simple tools.
