Our Advanced Competitive Batch goes beyond basic technique, using 130kmph+ bowling machines and match simulations to prepare you for the actual stress of a selection trial. You need to be ready for the real thing, not just practice. ### The Pathway to Professional Cricket Many academies focus on general fitness, but we focus on what gets you selected. The journey to the DDCA or state teams is difficult, and the competition is fierce. At West Delhi Cricket Academy, we treat every net session like a match scenario. We focus on these key areas for competitive players: * **Match Simulation:** We don't just stand in the nets. We use bowling machines and high-intensity bowling practice to mimic the speed and variation you will face in state trials. * **Technical Precision:** At this level, it is the micro-adjustments—head position, backlift, and wrist work—that separate a good player from a state-level cricketer. I personally oversee these corrections to ensure bad habits do not take root. * **Tactical Awareness:** We teach you how to read the game. Whether you are a pace bowler or a spinner, understanding when to attack and when to contain is what wins matches. * **Fitness for the Long Haul:** Endurance is non-negotiable. Our conditioning drills are designed to help you maintain your performance through long days in the field, a standard requirement for competitive cricket. ### Why Our Approach Works We do not believe in shortcuts. You will find that our training environment is rigorous. We are strict about discipline because talent without discipline rarely survives at the professional level. Our students have gone on to represent Delhi and national squads because they were prepared for the pressure of representative cricket from day one. If you are serious about taking your game to the next level, you have come to the right place. ## About West Delhi Cricket Academy Namaste, I am Rajkumar Sharma. I started West Delhi Cricket Academy because I saw a gap in how local talent was being groomed, and I wanted to ensure that any child with passion gets a real shot at professional cricket. I don't just coach players, I prepare them for the challenges of state-level selection.
