The difference between a kid who hits a ball well and an athlete who makes it to the Delhi Premier League is entirely down to the boring stuff. It is the thousands of repetitions of the straight drive, the early morning fitness, and the mindset to fail without quitting. If you are looking for a place to play for fun, we are not it. If you want to build a career, our training grounds are waiting. Success is not a shortcut. When you see our alumni like Virat Kohli, Anuj Rawat, or Udhav Mohan, you are seeing the result of years of consistent discipline. ### The WDCA Pathway We do not operate on magic. We operate on a system. Every player who has graduated from our academy to state or national levels has gone through the same process: * **Foundation:** We start with the basics. If your grip is wrong, your career is wrong. We fix stance, head position, and balance before we ever talk about power hitting. * **Match Exposure:** Net practice is only half the battle. We send our teams to tournaments in Dehradun, Jaipur, and local DDCA league matches. You need to learn how to play under pressure, not just against the bowling machine. * **Mental Conditioning:** 'Fearless cricket' is not a slogan. It is a calculated state of mind. We teach our students how to read a game, how to respect the opposition, and how to hold their nerve when the match is on the line. ### Why Our Alumni Succeed We are proud of our boys, but we are harder on them than anyone else. Our training sessions for high-performance players focus on: * **Fitness:** Agility ladders, core strength, and endurance. If your body gives up, your mind cannot save you. * **Specialization:** Whether you are a wicketkeeper-batsman like Anuj or a spin-bowling all-rounder like Pulkit, we build a program around your specific role. This is not a social club. This is a training ground for serious cricketers. If you have the passion, we will provide the direction. ## About West Delhi Cricket Academy I am Rajkumar Sharma. I don't run a factory for cricketers; I run a training ground where we separate the serious ones from the rest. The boys you see here—Virat, Anuj, Pulkit—are proof of what happens when discipline meets opportunity. We don't promise success, but we do promise that if you have the fire, we will teach you how to burn.
