Our core team regularly shadows our grooming and walking partners on live home sessions to feel exactly what you and your dog experience. It’s how we find the small tweaks—like safer leash handling or calmer drying techniques—that make a huge difference in your pup's comfort. ### Our Field-First Approach We talk a lot about building a better experience for dog parents, but that doesn't happen behind a screen. Every month, our team hits the streets and enters homes alongside our grooming and walking partners. We aren't there to watch from a distance. We observe the real-time challenges, from how a dog reacts to a hairdryer to the small details of hygiene maintenance. This data directly feeds into our training modules and service standards. ### Life Behind the Scissors In our grooming series, 'Life Behind the Scissors,' we pull back the curtain on what it takes to handle pets with patience. Grooming isn't just about cleaning fur. It's about body language. Our groomers like Avdhesh share how they earn a dog's trust before even picking up a tool. Whether it's using biscuits for a shy pup or knowing when to pause because a dog is overwhelmed, we prioritize emotional comfort as much as physical cleanliness. ### Why We Do It We are dog parents ourselves. We know the anxiety of leaving your dog with a stranger or the stress of a salon visit. We built Sploot to solve the problems we faced with our own dogs. By being transparent about our processes, our team, and even our mistakes, we hope to build a partnership where you feel confident leaving your dog in our care. Whether you need an at-home grooming session, a reliable dog walk, or just advice on puppy parenting, we are here to support the messy, amazing, and often chaotic life of raising a dog in India. ## About Sploot We're just a bunch of dog parents who decided to solve the problems we faced with our own furry family. Whether it’s Sriracha keeping us on our toes or our team hitting the streets to shadow our groomers, we’re obsessed with making sure your dog gets the same love and safety we’d want for our own.
