In our 'Big Step' foundation course, expect to spend your weekends working on voice projection, body movement, and breaking inhibitions. We don't do theory marathons; we focus on 'acting is reacting' through practical, intensive sessions at our Jayanagar studio that culminate in a real, live performance. Theatre is a craft, not a hobby. When you join our acting workshops in Bangalore, you are stepping into a space dedicated to serious artistic growth. We focus on the fundamentals: Navarasa (the nine emotions), body language, and voice culture. ### Our Training Philosophy We believe that acting is reacting. It is not about pretending; it is about responding honestly to your scene partner. Whether you join our 'Big Step' beginner course or our intensive 4-month program, you will work on script analysis and physical storytelling. We don't use jargon; we use practice. You will get up, move, potentially mess up, and learn in a safe space before you ever face a public audience. ### The Studio Experience Located in Jayanagar, our studio is built for intimacy and focus. With acoustic treatment and red-oxide flooring, it is where rehearsals happen and friendships form. This is where our students prepare for productions at venues like Ranga Shankara and Alliance Française. ### Who This Is For - **Beginners:** If you have never acted, our workshops build confidence through team-based exercises. - **Aspiring Actors:** Our intensive programs provide the rigor needed for serious stage work, including stagecraft and lighting concepts. - **Kids (8-12):** Our 'First Leaf' program uses play to teach trust and emotional expression, not just memorization. We are a community-centric group. Our graduates often become part of our repertory, taking their training from the workshop floor to the professional stage. ## About WeMove Theatre We don't just teach theatre; we groom performers. We built WeMove to create a space where stories matter and acting is a collective journey. Come visit our Jayanagar studio—the stage is home, and you are family.
