We prioritize structural accuracy, designing storage that sits flush with the walls to keep your space visually quiet, free from the visual clutter of standard cabinets. Our approach to the bedroom is rooted in the belief that rest requires an environment free from distraction. We view these spaces not as rooms to be filled, but as volumes to be shaped. By utilizing a neutral palette and natural textures, we ensure the room remains a restful backdrop for your life. ### Material Integrity We favor materials that age with dignity. You will often find our spaces defined by the warmth of recycled Burma teak, the tactile coolness of local stone, and surfaces finished with textured, lime-based plasters. We avoid synthetic laminates in favor of real wood and stone, because we believe that what you touch should be as honest as what you see. ### Spatial Efficiency In urban residences, space is the ultimate luxury. We maximize this by treating storage as architecture. Whether it is a seamless walk-in closet integrated into the bedroom layout or a floating nightstand that keeps the floor area clear, our joinery is built to solve functional needs without imposing on the room’s sense of calm. We work with 1:1 scale details to ensure that every transition—from wall to window, or floor to ceiling—is executed with precision. ### The Retreat Concept Every project we undertake, whether it is a weekend villa in a mango orchard or an apartment in Pali Hill, aims to establish a dialogue between the interior and the exterior. If the layout permits, we incorporate private terraces or large windows that frame the landscape, allowing you to wake up to natural light rather than artificial intervention. This is how we create a private retreat: a place where the design steps back so that you can simply exist. ## About We Design Studio We are Nupur and Saahil, and we founded We Design Studio to bring a sense of quiet back to residential architecture. We don't just furnish a room; we plan the way light, wood, and stone interact to make you feel at home the moment you walk in.
