For Javni and Deepesh, we avoided standard, heavy floral setups. Instead, we used a pastel framework by the pool and created distinct zones for their Garba and welcome dinner, ensuring the flow felt natural and fun rather than stiff or overly formal. When planning a destination wedding in Udaipur, it is easy to get caught up in the grandeur of the heritage properties. However, a venue like the Ramada requires a planner who understands how to balance its scale with personal warmth. For this specific wedding, we avoided the usual wedding cliches. Instead, we focused on what I call 'smart luxury.' For the Haldi, we utilized the poolside space with a pastel framework, skipping the heavy drapes that often block the natural view. We added quirky Hindi signage—things that actually mean something to the family—and interactive games like a giant snakes and ladders board. This keeps guests engaged and laughing, which is far more valuable than expensive, static decor. The Garba night was designed to be high-energy. We used a vibrant fabric tunnel at the entrance to signal a shift in mood from the earlier ceremonies. The stage backdrop used geometric prints rather than traditional heavy gold, allowing the couple's outfits and the dancers to stand out. If you are looking at Udaipur for your wedding, ask yourself: does your planner actually know the hotel layout? We know where the sun hits the pool, which lawns have the best breeze, and how to manage the guest logistics so you aren't the one dealing with hotel reception staff.
