We focus on tactile elements like fresh Genda strings, raw terracotta pottery, and authentic wooden jali panels that look honest in natural daylight. Since these architectural elements take up significant footprint, we recommend confirming your venue clearance heights before finalizing the grand entrance archways. The Old Delhi aesthetic is about nostalgia and warmth. It works effectively for brunch events because the sunlight hits the terracotta and marigolds differently, creating a glow that evening lighting often misses. We emphasize the sensory experience, from the distinct scent of the marigolds to the rough, grounding texture of the pottery. We work closely with you to identify a venue that supports this aesthetic, ideally spaces with open lawns or heritage-style courtyards. For seating, we move away from standard banquet setups toward wooden furniture that complements the theme. We handle the production in-house, managing the tenting and floor masking so you get a seamless transition from the entrance to the main party area. It is about controlled, chaotic beauty—the kind you see in the Walled City, but organized with precision for your celebration. ### Key Elements of Our Old Delhi Style * **Architectural Depth:** We use hand-painted Mughal motifs on arches and pillars to create a sense of place. * **Natural Palette:** We rely on terracotta, marigold orange, and wooden tones to keep the theme rooted in tradition. * **Small Details:** Look for the jali patterns and custom floor prints that tie the entire look together. We design these setups to stand up to the Delhi climate while ensuring the environment feels personal. If you have a specific venue in mind, we can walk through the space to see how the architecture can be integrated into the design rather than covered up. ## About Wedding Decor India We are a Delhi family, born into this madness of making parties look magical since 1967.
