When we pick an outdoor location like a waterfall in Dandeli or a secluded forest trail, we need to time our session perfectly to catch the soft light. This is why I advise couples to be flexible with their start times, as we are chasing the light, not just the location. Nature photography requires more than just a camera. It demands an understanding of the terrain, weather, and lighting conditions that change by the minute. When I shoot in locations like the Western Ghats or the open fields around Hubli, my priority is keeping the experience relaxed so you don't feel like you are working for the camera. ### Why Choose an Outdoor Nature Shoot Most couples choose nature shoots because they want a backdrop that feels expansive rather than confined to a studio. My approach here is to combine wide-angle drone shots—which capture the scale of the environment—with intimate close-up portraits. This gives you a mix of cinematic, epic visuals and personal, candid memories. ### Location Flexibility I am based in Hubli, but I travel extensively across Karnataka for shoots. Whether you have a specific spot in mind in Hampi, the beaches of Udupi, or the dense forests of Dandeli, I bring my lighting gear to match the natural settings. For these sessions, we focus on movement—walking, talking, and laughing—rather than holding still for long periods. ### What to Expect - **Logistics:** Outdoor shoots often involve walking or light trekking. I recommend wearing comfortable footwear for the journey, and we can switch to formal wear once we reach the spot. - **Props:** If you have an idea for a picnic setup or a specific prop, I am happy to integrate it into the shot, provided it fits the environment. - **Drone Usage:** For nature clusters, I highly recommend including drone coverage.
