I've combined a lightweight sheer curtain to let in that soft Bangalore sunlight, with a thicker, decorative blackout curtain for complete privacy and light control. The thick fabric provides excellent light blocking and adds a touch of luxury, perfectly complementing the elegant chaise lounge and patterned wallpaper. In this bedroom, I used a stylish, heavy-duty grey curtain as a flexible room divider to conceal a walk-in closet area. This is a practical and cost-effective solution for creating distinct zones within a room without building a permanent wall.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/856a1eaa-cb07-41dd-92f9-a3b6df23e5c0) ## About Featured Most people choose curtains just for the look, but I focus on the function too. For many Bangalore homes, I suggest a dual-layer setup. This uses a lightweight sheer for daytime privacy and a heavy blackout layer for the night. This way, you do not have to compromise on natural light or privacy, and installing them on ceiling-mounted tracks provides that clean, seamless finish that makes your room feel taller. When I visit your home, I look at the light, the wall space, and how you actually use the room to decide the best setup. A standard rod mount is fine for simple window treatments, but if you want a modern, floor-to-ceiling look, I recommend ceiling tracks with hidden gliders. They work perfectly with heavy velvet or suede fabrics. If you need to manage heat, I suggest semi-gloss poly-blend fabrics for better light control. The double-layer set is particularly popular for bedrooms, combining a sheer net for the day with a blackout fabric for the evening. This gives you full control over the ambiance. I also do more than just windows. I have installed curtains as room dividers to separate work areas from sleeping zones without the mess of construction. Whatever your needs, I handle the measurement, the selection of fabric, and the drilling myself, so you do not have to worry about sagging hems, incorrect lengths, or poorly installed brackets. ## About WallFlavors I am Shrinath, and I have been helping Bangalore homes find their style for over a decade.
