We rely on the Iyengar method, using blocks, chairs, and belts to make even difficult asanas accessible for every student, regardless of your current flexibility or experience level. ### A Traditional Foundation At Vyas Yoga School, our teacher training goes beyond just ticking boxes for a certificate. We focus on the traditional roots of yoga, combining Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa. You will not find shortcuts here. Our 24-day curriculum is designed to help you understand your breath, align your body safely, and build a practice that sustains you for life. ### The Daily Routine Living in Tapovan, Rishikesh, you will fall into a rhythm of discipline. Days start at 6:00 AM and run through to 7:00 PM. It is a rigorous schedule, but it is balanced by communal living. You will share meals consisting of Sattvic, digestive-friendly Indian food, and engage in Shatkarma cleansing rituals to prepare your body for deeper work. Our atmosphere is simple and supportive, creating a 'YogaFamily' environment where students from all backgrounds learn together. ### Why Train With Us? * **Safe Alignment:** We are sticklers for safety. My team provides hands-on adjustments to ensure you understand the mechanics of every asana, preventing injury and ensuring you can eventually teach others with confidence. * **Beyond Asana:** We cover anatomy, yoga philosophy, and pranayama. You will leave with a Yoga Alliance USA (RYT-200) certification, but more importantly, you will have a deep understanding of what you are teaching. * **Holistic Wellness:** We integrate props like ropes and bolsters, making advanced postures like backbends and splits achievable for beginners.
