This means you will not see me setting up heavy, distracting strobe lights that kill the vibe or break the flow of your dance floor. Instead, I use the venue's natural mood lighting to get those cinematic shots while you actually enjoy the evening. The reception is usually when you finally exhale. The formal photos are behind you, and it is time for the people and the party. My approach to these events is purely documentary. I am looking for the messy, unposed interactions that make your wedding feel like yours. Whether it is a dramatic silhouette shot against the venue decor or the candid laughter during a toast, I focus on the lighting and composition to capture the energy of the night without turning it into a photoshoot. I often utilize black and white photography for these events to strip away the distractions and focus entirely on the raw emotion and the movement of the crowd.
