We start with the candid chaos—the running jokes, the last-minute outfit fixes, and the shared drinks—before we move to those clean, composed portraits you will want to frame. The photos of your friends are often the ones you look back on and actually laugh at years later. While the big rituals are important, the interactions with your bridesmaids and groomsmen are where the true personality of your celebration comes through. ### My Approach to Group Shots My process for these sessions is simple: we start by letting things happen. I want to capture the girls getting ready, the groomsmen figuring out their ties, and the inside jokes that keep everyone smiling. Once we have those raw, candid moments, we transition into the portraits. This is where I direct the group to get that stylish, editorial look—the kind you see in magazines but with your real-life crew. ### Why it Matters Your wedding party is there to keep you sane. They are the ones fixing your saree, holding your drink, and making sure you actually eat. Documenting this bond isn't just about the outfits; it is about the support system you chose to stand beside you on one of your biggest days. Whether we are shooting at a heritage venue in South Mumbai or a beachside resort, I focus on the connection, not just the backdrop. ### Making it Comfortable I know not everyone loves being in front of a lens. If your friends feel awkward or shy, I am great at breaking the ice. We keep it light, we keep it moving, and we focus on having fun rather than holding a pose for too long.
