Finding a quiet corner, I focus on observing and translating the details and the mood of the event into my sketchbook.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/82647ac4-f75d-44e8-8601-936d502a307d) ## About Festivals & Cultural Events At a busy festival or pandal, I look for the quiet, candid moments that cameras often miss. I set up with just my sketchbook and pens, finding a corner where I can watch the rituals, the crowds, and the decor, and then I simply start drawing what I see. My approach to event illustration is grounded in honesty. I do not aim for polished, photographic perfection. Instead, I use ballpoint pens and markers to create loose, expressive lines that carry the actual mood of your celebration. When I sketch at a place like a Durga Puja pandal, my goal is to translate the festival's atmosphere into a tactile memory you can keep. I work as a fly-on-the-wall, capturing the architecture, the key sequences like rituals, and the small details that make your event unique. You get the original hardbound sketchbook filled with these drawings, along with high-res scans delivered within 48 hours for your digital use. Whether it is a cultural gathering or a private party, my process requires very little space, just a table, two chairs, and good lighting to work my magic. If you are looking for an artist who values the raw energy of a moment over digital perfection, let's talk about documenting your next event. ## About Shirish Ghatge I am Shirish. I carry my sketchbook everywhere, finding quiet corners at loud festivals to draw what is actually happening. It is not about perfect lines for me, but about capturing the feeling of the celebration in real-time.
