My process blends traditional textures with modern precision, resulting in illustrations that are ready for print or screen. ## Photos and videos - ![A close-up of the 'Forest of Enchantment' mandala, showing the four langurs at the center. This helps me keep that imperfect human touch in the final digital file rather than having it look perfectly computer-generated. If you are looking for an illustration that feels authentic and full of character, we can start by discussing the specific feeling or story you want to capture. When I work on digital illustrations, I treat the iPad like my sketchbook. The goal is never to make something that looks sterile or machine-perfect. Whether I am creating intricate symmetrical patterns, character designs, or stylized landscapes, I prioritize the raw energy of a hand-drawn stroke. My workflow is collaborative. We start with a conversation about what you need to express. I provide thumbnail sketches to align on direction before moving into the final digital inking and colouring. This ensures that the final artwork feels personal to you, not just a generic design. I often work with clients on projects ranging from editorial concepts to personalized storytelling artwork. Because I build these with high-resolution digital layers, the final files are crisp enough for large-scale prints or screen usage. If you have a specific vision, I am happy to walk you through how we can translate your idea into a digital piece that retains that organic, hand-crafted aesthetic. ## About Shirish Ghatge I am Shirish. I draw because it keeps me connected to the world, and I treat digital art with the same respect as ink on paper. My process is always about finding the story in the lines, whether it's a pet portrait or a complex mural design.
