This ensures your skin stays comfortable while we create symbols of your journey—like baby motifs or portraits of you and your partner—that make the celebration truly yours. Finding the right mehndi for a baby shower is about more than just the pattern. It is about the comfort and safety of the mother-to-be. Since I prepare my own henna cones, I take complete control over what goes into the paste. I avoid all chemicals, relying solely on natural henna powder and pregnancy-safe essential oils, so you can relax while we work. ### Designing Your Story For Godh Bharai and baby shower ceremonies, I love to move beyond traditional fillers to create something that actually represents your family. We can incorporate: * **Portraits:** I sketch portraits of the expecting parents on your palms or arms, capturing that moment before the baby arrives. * **Calligraphy:** Devanagari script works beautifully for 'Aai' (Mother) and 'Baba' (Father) or phrases that hold meaning for your family. * **Playful Motifs:** If you want a fun touch, we can add small teddy bears, baby feet, rattles, or balloons integrated into the design. * **Gender Reveal Elements:** Many clients ask for 'Boy' or 'Girl' text art to celebrate the big reveal. ### My Process I travel to your location anywhere in the Mumbai Metropolitan Area. Whether you are hosting a large gathering in a hall or an intimate event at home, I adjust the design density to suit the time available and your comfort level. Because Godh Bharai mehndi often involves more detailed, figurative work than a standard party design, I recommend planning for a slightly longer application time. This allows me to focus on the fine lines that make these portrait designs stand out. If you have a specific sketch or idea in mind, share it with me when we book the date—I am always up for a new creative challenge. ## About Shilpa Vora I am Shilpa Vora.
