I build custom structures, like the Ek Onkar symbol, using fresh carnations or tuberose to properly ground the ceremony. You need a space that feels quiet and sacred, not just loud, so I pay close attention to the fabric drapes and the natural lighting at your venue to get that perfect, devotional glow. ### My Approach to Anand Karaj For 30 years, I have believed that an Anand Karaj requires a different kind of energy. It is not about filling a room with clutter; it is about creating a space where the ceremony takes center stage. Whether you want a minimalist white and gold theme or a soft, romantic pink palette, my goal is to frame the Granth Sahib and the couple in a way that feels respectful and authentic. ### Custom Fabrication & Sacred Symbols I do not rely on standard, cookie-cutter backdrops. My team and I handle the production and fabrication in-house. This allows me to create specific elements—like a Gurdwara-inspired dome entrance or a detailed 'Ek Onkar' crafted entirely from fresh flowers. I work with fiber and wood structures to ensure these symbols look grand and substantial, not flimsy. ### Florals and Atmosphere Flowers are my paint. For Sikh ceremonies, I avoid overly bright, jarring mixes. I prefer using: * **Tuberose (Rajnigandha):** For the pure, classic scent and elegant hanging lines. * **Carnations and Roses:** To build dense, lush floral walls or intricate typography. * **White and Pastel Shades:** To maintain that peaceful, morning-ceremony vibe. ### Planning Your Setup Because I fabricate custom pieces, I need to know your venue layout early. I usually visit the location to check the ceiling height and the natural light flow. If you are planning an outdoor Anand Karaj, I will suggest weather-appropriate draping and ensure the Mandap is secure. Let's talk about the specific rituals you have planned so I can align the seating and floral borders to your family's needs. ## About VKS Productions & Decor I have spent over 30 years perfecting the balance between tradition and art. For me, an Anand Karaj isn't about extravagance—it is about the quiet, sacred energy that fills the room when family gathers.
