In my classes, we spend the first few sessions on cone mechanics—learning how to roll your own needle-point cones and mixing fresh Rajasthani Sojat powder into a consistent paste. If you cannot control the flow, the design will never look clean, no matter how intricate your patterns are. ### Why The Basics Matter I often see students trying to draw complex portraits before they can draw a straight line. That is where mistakes happen. My foundation training is designed to break that cycle by focusing on the fundamentals: * **Organic Mixology:** We do not use chemical-laden cones. You will learn to prepare your own paste using organic Rajasthani henna powder, essential oils, and the right water-to-powder ratio for that deep, dark stain. * **Cone Mechanics:** Rolling a perfect needle-point cone is a skill on its own. You will learn how to adjust your grip and pressure to get a consistent flow, which is essential for fine-line work. * **The Aftercare Ritual:** A design is only as good as the stain it leaves.
