I personally handle the draping to ensure it mimics the regal aesthetic of classic Indian paintings, and we have a curated collection of antique-finish jewellery and props at my HRBR Layout studio to complete the look. My approach to heritage maternity photography is about more than just taking a photo. It is about honoring the transition into motherhood through the lens of our roots. Whether you want to channel the grace of a Ravi Varma painting or recreate the warmth of traditional South Indian or Bengali customs, I design the set to tell your specific story. ### The Artistic Process We don't just use props; we build an atmosphere. I use specific lighting techniques that highlight the texture of silk sarees and the intricate details of traditional jewellery. We often incorporate rituals like lighting a lamp or using specific floral arrangements that symbolize prosperity and new beginnings.
