You are a disciple in a lineage. Our daily routine begins at 4:30 AM with Vedic chanting. The act of offering a Sashtanga Namaskar is not ritual alone, but a genuine act of surrender. It prepares your mind to receive the wisdom of Dhanurveda before you ever touch a bow. Dhanurvidya is a journey of self-mastery, not a short-term course. This is why the Guru-Shishya Parampara is central to our retreats in Tirupati, Hyderabad, and Vizianagaram. Many expect to simply learn how to hold a bow, but I guide you to understand why you are holding it. ### The Living Tradition In the ancient Gurukula system, learning happens through observation and participation. You will live alongside fellow seekers, sharing Satvik meals and participating in the same daily austerities. The bow is treated as a sacred instrument, often blessed during our Ayudha Puja ceremonies. ### What You Experience - **Foundational Discipline:** We emphasize posture and breath control long before moving targets are introduced. - **Spiritual Alignment:** Yoga and meditation sessions frame your training, helping you achieve the focus required for true archery. - **The Lineage:** You will study the Dhanurveda shlokas, connecting your practice to the warriors of the Mahabharata and Ramayana. This is not a space for tourists. It is for those who are ready to rise early, step away from digital distractions, and commit to the discipline of a warrior. Whether you are 10 or 75, if you arrive with a sincere heart, you will be taught. My goal is to ensure that when you leave, you carry a piece of this tradition with you, and perhaps, a stronger sense of your own inner veerta, or bravery. ## About Vibhakar Uday Tiwari I am Vibhakar Uday Tiwari.
