We use actual torches, which means the light is moving, flickering, and constantly changing, giving your portraits a raw, cinematic quality that static studio lighting cannot replicate. It takes a bit more time to get the focus just right, but the mood it creates is unlike anything else. When we plan these night sessions, we are effectively working with the elements. Unlike daylight shoots where the sun does most of the work, these sessions require us to be intentional about every shadow and flare. I use my Sony gear to keep the images crisp even in low light, making sure the grain adds to the atmosphere rather than ruining the shot. ### Why choose a night beach session? If you feel awkward posing, the dark actually helps. Because you are focused on the torch and the movement of the fire, you tend to stop thinking about the camera. That is when the real, unscripted moments happen. It is not about looking perfect, it is about looking real. Whether we are in Navi Mumbai or traveling to Goa, I handle all the lighting setups so you just need to show up and be yourself. ### How we make it work - **Planning:** We scout the location to ensure the tide is low enough for us to work safely. - **Lighting:** We use real fire torches to provide a natural, warm, and flickering light source that creates those deep, moody shadows. - **Movement:** You do not need to stand still. We will move, walk, and interact with the environment, and I will capture those candid, fleeting connections. - **Team:** For the more complex shots, I often work with a partner to ensure we have multiple angles covered simultaneously. If you have a specific, wild idea for a night shoot, let's talk about it.
