This shows how simple, discarded materials can be repurposed to create something that is not only beautiful but also helps us grow fresh, clean air in our environment.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/74eb1cc4-8ade-4de6-8f8f-381e395fce29) ## About Eco-Conscious & Community Projects When we design these upcycled gardens, we treat plastic bottles as a modular structural system, not just waste. We meticulously clean, cut, and mount them in a grid that ensures proper drainage for every plant. It is a hands-on process that turns potential landfill into a living, air-purifying wall, perfect for schools or community spaces that want to demonstrate sustainability in action. Sustainability in our work goes beyond just adding plants to a space. It is about rethinking what we consider 'waste' and finding a second life for materials like PET bottles. By repurposing these into planters, we reduce our environmental impact while creating a unique, textured look that you simply cannot get from store-bought pots. ### Why Community Projects Matter Working with schools like Sanskriti School in Delhi changed our perspective on why we do this. When we involve students and teachers in the planting process, the garden becomes more than just decor—it becomes a classroom. It provides a tangible lesson on how we can take responsibility for our surroundings. We see kids get excited about the mud, the growth, and the way a wall of plants can actually lower the temperature and clean the air in their play areas. ### The 'Best Out Of Waste' Process 1. **Material Prep**: We source and sterilize bottles to ensure they are safe and durable for long-term use. 2. **Grid Engineering**: We design a support structure that distributes weight evenly, keeping the wall stable even when the plants are watered. 3. **Plant Selection**: We choose hardy, air-purifying plants that thrive in these bottle planters with minimal soil, such as Syngoniums and Spider plants. If you have a school, office, or community space in Delhi NCR that needs a green makeover, we are ready to help you plan it. Whether you want to educate your community or just want a truly sustainable feature wall, we focus on designs that are practical, durable, and good for the planet. ## About Vertical Garden I love finding ways to make greenery accessible to everyone, especially when it helps reduce waste.
