Our main recurring issues have been the seat post screw loosening and the left crank arm needing frequent re-tightening, so we recommend keeping a basic toolkit handy if you ride this daily. ### Our Take on the Triban RC 100 The Btwin Triban RC 100 is a staple in our rental fleet, and for good reason. It hits a sweet spot for riders transitioning from hybrids to their first road bike. However, in our experience servicing these in Mumbai, it is not a 'buy and forget' machine. ### The Good * **Frame Geometry:** The 6061 T6 aluminium frame offers an upright position that is much more forgiving than aggressive race bikes. The aluminium handlebar is quite thin, which might feel underwhelming for those used to sturdier builds. Also, because it lacks a front derailleur, you might find yourself wishing for more gearing range on steep Mumbai inclines.
