You just need to source about 12 to 14kg of potting mix locally per tower, and you are ready to start growing your own spinach, tomatoes, or coriander. ### How Our Kits Work I built these towers to keep things simple. Whether you pick our **Leafy Tower** (16 pockets) for your greens or the **Regular Tower** (5 large pockets) for fruiting vegetables like chillies and tomatoes, the logic is the same. * **Hardware:** You get high-density UPVC towers, base dishes to manage drainage, and internal watering pipes. * **Mounting:** We include the GI wire and wall plugs. If you have a grill, we have a simple tie-down method that keeps the towers stable even in strong winds. * **The Soil Factor:** To keep shipping costs low and help you learn, we don't include soil. You can buy good quality potting mix from your local nursery. Each tower needs roughly 12-14kg. ### Why Soil-Based Gardening?
