When you are dressing up for your sangeet or reception, the goal is slightly different from a traditional wedding look. You want something that allows you to move, dance, and interact comfortably, but still looks stunning in every single photo. I focus on a dewy or soft matte finish here, which is lighter on the skin compared to heavy bridal makeup. The key is in the details—sharp, winged liner, dramatic false lashes, and a contour that defines your features under flash photography. Whether you are wearing a gown, a fusion outfit, or a lighter lehenga, I make sure the hairstyling complements the look, be it Hollywood waves or messy buns. For these events, I typically spend 2.5 to 3 hours at my studio. We work on your eye look first to ensure the pigment is right, followed by a breathable base that lasts through the night. If you need help with gown adjustments or saree pleating, I handle that as well so you do not have to worry about the setup.
