## About Hydroponics & Urban Farming Workshops

### Why I Do This

I’ve seen how tricky it can be to eat clean, chemical-free veggies in the city. That’s why I want to show you how easy it is to start your own little farm, even if you’ve just got a chhota (small) balcony or a cramped terrace. No farming jargon, just real talk and hands-on learning.

### What To Expect

I break down the basics of hydroponics and urban farming so you can actually put things into practice. You'll pick up key skills like:
- Setting up a balcony hydroponics setup or using grow bags for a DIY urban vegetable garden.
- Choosing the right spot, system, and crops for your flat, terrace, or window sill.
- Using water-saving gardening methods that make sense in Mumbai’s water situation.
- Troubleshooting common stuff, like what to do if you spot pests or yellowing leaves (hint: don’t panic, just snip off the damaged part).

### Who Usually Joins

Mostly folks from Mumbai, Thane, or Navi Mumbai who want to eat better and use their space for something green. Total newbies are welcome, and so are people who’ve killed a money plant before. All you need is some curiosity.

### My Way Of Helping

It’s not a boring lecture - we actually get our hands dirty. After the workshop, I stick around in our little online group to answer questions, share Mumbai home farming tips, and help you keep things growing. If you’re looking to start small but think big, you’ll fit right in.

## Meet your expert

[Vedang Agro](https://mytribe.in/vedang_agro)

### My story

We’re Vedang Agro. Ghar mein kheti, that’s our thing. Mumbai’s busy, but we believe everyone should eat fresh, clean veggies—no chemicals. We do it ourselves, squeezing veggie patches into tiny spaces. Plants surprise you, always. Once, a caterpillar finished off our chilly plant, but we waited. It bounced back, like magic. When families stop buying bhindi or spinach from the market and pick from their own terrace, that’s what makes us smile.

### My work

- **Urban farming solutions for homes**: We set up terrace vegetable gardens, hydroponic DWC systems, organic balcony farming, and rooftop polyhouses.
- **Grow pesticide-free veggies**: We help you raise fresh, toxin-free greens, chillies, and even Russian Kale right at home.
- **City-friendly gardening support**: Tiny balcony or big terrace—we handle setup and maintenance, so you just enjoy the harvest.
- **Tips and online help**: We share tricks for monsoon pests, plant care, and anything else to make you a pro urban farmer.
