I work with you to pick a prop or outfit, like a red rose, a slice of citrus, or a specific accessory, that becomes the focal point. During the shoot, we focus on high-contrast lighting to ensure the subject pops even before I apply the digital selective color grade. This style of photography relies on minimalism. By converting the surroundings to black and white, I remove distractions, forcing the viewer to engage directly with the subject, their expression, and that one vibrant element. Whether it is a deep crimson lip, a yellow lemon, or a contrasting scarf, the color is not just an edit; it is a narrative device. Planning is key for these sessions.
