This flyer details my Mahjong classes, which are designed to be beginner-friendly and convenient. I focus on small groups to teach you everything from Cracks, Dots, and Bams to winning strategies.](https://assets.mytribe.in/insecure/raw:1/plain/s3://mytribe-assets-production/33cd1461-47fe-404c-a69a-86c26ed7a3d1) ## About Learn to Play Mahjong Learning a complex strategy game is much easier when you are not struggling to keep up with a large class. I teach in small, focused groups, ensuring you get the personal attention required to master Cracks, Dots, and Bams before the session ends, rather than just listening to a lecture on rules. Mahjong is more than just a game. It is a social skill that builds strategy and sharpens your mind. Whether you have seen it in movies or heard friends talk about it, the learning curve can often feel steep. My sessions strip away that confusion. ### How We Learn I come to your location, which makes this setup ideal for friends planning a get-together, hosting a kitty party, or families wanting a shared activity. We turn your living room into a game room. I provide the professional tile sets, racks, and, most importantly, my custom study guides. You will not just hear the rules; you will learn how to apply them confidently. ### What You Can Expect We start with the basics of tile types and quickly move into building your first winning hand. There is no rote memorization here. We focus on the flow of the game, situational awareness, and the tactics that make gameplay fun rather than stressful. * **Tile Identification:** Learn to distinguish between Cracks, Dots, and Bams quickly. * **Strategy Basics:** Understand the rules of Pungs, Kongs, and Chows. * **Defensive Play:** Learn when to hold back and how to read the table. The sessions are designed to move from theory to practical application within 90 to 120 minutes. By the end of our time, you will be ready to set up a game and play with friends in Mumbai. ## About Varahaa I started Varahaa because I believe learning shouldn't feel like a chore.
