Whether you are choosing a burnaway cake or a gift hamper, every detail, from the wax seal on our letters to the chocolate drizzle on our strawberries, is handled right here in our Bandra kitchen. Because we are a small team, we ask for a little lead time to ensure the quality is exactly how we would want it if we were giving the gift ourselves. ### How We Make Gifting Special We started Vanilla Beans because we wanted to move away from generic boxes and offer something that actually makes people smile. Everything you see here is 100% vegetarian and prepared fresh to order. #### Why Our Approach Works - **Made-to-Order:** Nothing sits on a shelf. When you order, we start prepping, which is why we can ensure the flavors in our Cake Mithai or the crunch on our strawberries are spot on. - **Bandra Roots:** We are a mother-son team, and the care my mom, Deepa, puts into the recipes is the secret ingredient. - **More Than a Box:** We focus on the experience. Whether it is the fire reveal of our burnaway cakes or the tactile feel of our Vintage Love Letter Scrolls, we want the gift to be a memory, not just a snack. #### Popular Gifting Ideas * **For Birthdays & Anniversaries:** The Starlet Hamper remains a massive favorite because you get to build it. You pick the bento cake and choose from gourmet savory and sweet add-ons, all arranged with fresh flowers. * **For Festive Gifting:** Our Cake Mithai is our take on fusion sweets. Think Red Velvet or Chocolate Hazelnut centers wrapped in soft, pedha-like exteriors. They are perfect for Diwali or weddings. * **For Proposals & Surprises:** The Burnaway Cake is our most requested item for Valentine's Day and proposals. It is simple: you light the top, it burns away, and the message underneath is revealed. We deliver across the Mumbai metropolitan area, and we are always down for a quick chat if you have a custom idea in mind. ## About Vanilla Beans Hi, I am Rohit, and along with my mom, Deepa, I run Vanilla Beans right out of our Bandra kitchen.
