Every box of Kaju Katli or batch of Mohanthal is prepared fresh only after you place your order. This means when you receive your sweets, they are coming straight from our stove rather than sitting on a store shelf. Our approach to mithai is simple: we follow the same recipes that have been in our family since 2001. We avoid industrial methods, heavy preservatives, and mass production. ### Why Freshness Matters Traditional Gujarati sweets like Mohanthal and Besan Ladoo rely heavily on the quality of ghee and the freshness of the flour. When you order from us, you get food that tastes the way it should. Our Boondi is fried in fresh oil for every batch, and our Kaju Katli is prepared with premium nuts to ensure that melt-in-the-mouth texture. Because we don't add preservatives, the shelf life is shorter than store-bought sweets, but the taste is significantly better. ### Dietary & Customization We cater to vegetarian and Jain households. If you have specific requirements—such as lower sugar content or specific ingredient restrictions for festivals like Paryushan—let us know. We are a small team, so we can adjust our recipes to suit your family's needs. ### Seasonal Specialties Our menu changes with the calendar. We focus on seasonal superfoods, such as Methi Gond Laddoos during winter to boost immunity, or refreshing items for summer. Since we do not maintain a large inventory, we recommend placing your requests at least two days in advance to ensure we have the time to source the best ingredients and prepare your batch with care. ## About Vama's Kitchen I am Nita and this is my daughter Labdhi. Together, we run Vama's Kitchen from our home in Vile Parle. We don't believe in machines or mass production; we just use old recipes and good ingredients to make sweets that remind you of home.
